Agency: Russia’s new LCV market falls 0.6% to 8,616 in March
MOSCOW, Apr 8 (PRIME) -- The Russian market of new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) contracted by 0.6% on the year to 8,616 cars in March, research agency Autostat reported on Wednesday.
In January–March, the market fell 0.4% on the year to 23,690 cars.
Carmaker GAZ Group maintained the leading position in the period with sales staying flat at 10,657 vehicles. Sales of UAZ dropped 16.4% to 3,555 units, of Ford fell 1.7% to 2,549 units, of AvtoVAZ’ brand Lada went up 0.6% to 2,293 cars, and of Volkswagen rose 8.4% to 1,244 units.
